ACT Homebirth Trial

The Centenary Hospital for Women and Children is offering homebirth through a publicly funded homebirth trial. The program offers women the opportunity to birth in the comfort of their home with the support, guidance and expertise of two qualified midwives.

The trial commenced in October 2016 and will run for three years, with one to two homebirths being offered each month. It is available to women who meet the eligibility criteria and who live within the trial catchment area (identified suburbs close to the hospital only)
